Travel Protection allows you to protect your travel investment at a very affordable group rate and carry peace of mind with you when you travel.
Your Travel Protection premium is a percentage of your total trip cost. The percentage used to calculate your premium is based on your age at the time of your trip.
When purchasing Travel Protection with Cancel for Any Reason you do need to add the rates together. When calculating your premium please use the rates for the Standard Plan OR the rates for the Standard Plan with Cancel for Any Reason.
When you complete our online enrollment form, your premium will be calculated for you automatically when you enter your age and trip cost.
Example: A 62-year-old traveler insuring a $1,000 trip with the Standard Travel Protection Plan would pay 8% or $80.
The same 62-year-old traveler insuring a $1,000 trip with Travel Protection Plan with Cancel for Any Reason would pay 12% or $120.
